In pursuit of its mission, BMA has the following specific goals and objectives:
  • To enhance corporate bottom line by facilitating transitions of non-performing assets, generating capital and freeing up financial reserves

  • To support existing internal teams dedicated to managing or transitioning surplus real estate. BMA’s goal is to help these teams marshal their resources, facilitate communications and consensus among internal stakeholders, and promote action by helping to maintain critical momentum on projects

  • To take full advantage of improved strategies, new laws and incentives, and innovative technologies to capture value and reduce risk associated with surplus sites
