Advanced information technology systems are key to BMA’s integrated VR (value recovery) and RM (risk
mitigation) solutions. Brownfields and other surplus properties present complex issues and large volumes of technical, environmental and real estate data that can become overwhelming if not properly managed. This issue is magnified when a company owns a portfolio of sites. BMA has created three proprietary online systems for centralizing and processing this information and presenting it in clear, useable formats for all stakeholders: The BOX™ (Brownfield Online Connexion), the ROX™ (Risk Transfer Online Connexion) and IPMS® (Integrated Property Management System). As discussed below, the BOX™, ROX™ and IPMS® allow owners to understand, manage and control the flow of site information, whether they plan to protectively divest their properties, transfer legacy liabilities or hold and maintain their sites indefinitely. |
